Fastest way to use candycanes?
Chasing Squirrels
Anyone know what is the fastest way to use these?
MisterB
Bring fast cast mesmer heroes with a res, and sacrifice skills(Blood is Power) on you. Suicide, heroes res you, use a cane, repeat.

slam (click) on the CC icon till your DP is gone or back to normal health.
Kosar The Cruel
You have to make sure not to drop to -30% DP or else you insta-die after res.
I had the same problem.

Equip your heroes with a resurrection skill that restores more than 50% of maximum health. If your modified health is negative for whatever reason, resurrection skills will have that effect (You immediately die again after a res.).

A less fast but easier way:
*Go to Ember Light Camp.
*Take off all your armor and kick all your heroes.
*Head outside in normal mode, aggro some Flesh Golems, and run back to the rez shrine.
*Let them kill you, get rezzed, etc. They'll create some minions so they keep aggro most of the time.
*Alt-Tab between GW and whatever else interests you (putting GW in windowed mode helps) every few minutes to chew some candy.

Also, don't use a low health armor set. If your using bip you will die in 4 hits if you have 15000 or 55 health

I personally preferred using the three monk heroes with Unyielding Aura, but I suppose to each their own.
However, BiP is pretty much the undisputed fastest way - whether you want to use Gwen/Norgu or Dunkoro/Tahlkora/Ogden is up to you.

best way I did it was in domain of anguish if you go to the top left town on the map and then go out in NM by the shrine just outide.... you will die and rez with the people still on you.... very efficient if you are doing other things around the house while using candy canes

I'd say, do it the same way I did Pumpkin Cookies. Which was ....
2 (or 3) heroes equipped with Unyielding Aura (and no heals other than self heals) - they don't need to be monks, they can just have Monk secondary. UA gives the fastest rez.
Equip a Vampiric weapon - then use BiP to sac yourself - UA rez - CC - repeat.
It doesn't matter what armor you wear or what your max health is, BiP takes a percentage of your health so it always takes 4 BiPs - or only 3 if you equip a Vamp weapon.
You could probably use Blood Ritual instead of BIP, it would just take a bit longer.

You don't need to pump divine favor to use UA, so sup wilderness and pump expertise, constant UA when needed. You can use this while leveling up various pets, too...it's a good afk 12-20 tool with a vamp weapon and low health armor set.

I think the best way to do it is get a mesmer/ritualist hero with fast casting+flesh of my flesh (as it gives you half of the users hp; and it reduces their health by half every time they use it), and begin using BiP! :]
P.S. It's a very tedious job btw, I get through 1 stack of wintergreens in like 21 mins. Very Boring!

No other skills required. - A vampiric weapon is not required, and not reccomended. - Just wear your normal armor. Go outside of town. Target one of your mesmers. Cast BiP on the hero, repeatedly, until you die. Hero rezzes you quickly. Use candy canes to remove your Death Penalty. |
The "it looks like I'm insta-dying" thing is a result of neither BiP or FomF having a cooldown. The game is keeping track of deaths vs rezzes, but visually it looks like things get out of synch.
Don't worry. It's fine. Just keep on cutting yourself and eating sugary snacks. You'll be OK.
Edit: for clarification, there is a common glitch that makes you actually fall down dead after you've been rezzed. To produce this, you need to have:
- Lower than normal max HP
- Death Penalty
- A rez that is NOT Flesh of My Flesh or Resurrection Chant
As we can see, a low max HP + a high DP = your newly-calculated max HP is less than 0. If you are rezzed with a skill that doesn't rez you with {hp as a factor of the rezzer's own hp}, then you can't be rezzed.
If you just wear your normal gear, and bring Me/Rt's with FoMF, as described above, you will not encounter this glitch, and will be able to BiP your way through a whole stack of sweets.
