When in a party is there a way to see what quests other party members have? I was playing with a friend earlier and we found it hard to help each other with quests because we couldnt see what the quest was, what had to be done or where it was and stuff like that.

There's no way to see what quests the other player has, but if you're playing in windows mode, you can always find the quest on wiki and use that to help your friend.

yea you can just ask you friend the name of the mission/quest and jsut wiki it all the answers are within well atleast in my exp
