We're all going to be playing max level Dervishes in PvP to test out the new changes. If you have a level 20 PvE Dervish, you're ahead of the game. If you don't have a PvE Dervish and want to participate in the show, but have never really played Dervish a lot, here's some preparations you can do before the update goes live.
1. Play PvP and earn Balthazar Faction. Use the faction to unlock Dervish skills, runes, and scythe weapon mods. 90% of the skills are getting changed, but you can still unlock your favorite skills for the current build of Guild Wars. Try to create multiple bars, as part of the fun of the show will be changing bars and trying EVERY skill available!
2. If you have the time, familiarize yourself with the current Dervish, as it seems that the new Dervish will have a similar core of strong AoE damage.
We will meet on the boat in the American District 1 of Random Arenas. If you can't get into AD 1, send me a PM ingame. From there, anyone who wants to play will be guested into the GuildMag guild. If the turnout is small, we'll just do a single GvG scrimmage of nothing but Dervishes. We don't need to have healers, runners, midline, etc...it's just us learning the Dervish together and having a good time (and maybe you'll finally get to hit me for talking too much

If our numbers are stronger, we can do multiple scrimmages, or something even more exciting, like assaulting Alliance Battles with full Dervish teams.
You can follow along in the gameplay by visiting http://www.guildwars2live.com , or you can stream your own gameplay and we will post all the streams at the end of the event!
Anyone who does not act in a mature manner, or shows poor sportsmanship, or patronizes guests in any way will have their guest privilege revoked and be removed from the event. Everyone's going to be unfamiliar with these new mechanics and skills, so this kind of behavior will not be tolerated.
No matter your experience with the Dervish, it promises to be an enjoyable time.
The big question is...when is the update? We don't know! That's why everyone needs to prepare now! Another post restating the time, procedures, and venue for the event will be made the night the update goes live.
