i think it would be nice to have the characters age shown at the character select screen. also, hours played and account hours played.

Why? I don't really want to see it until I do and bringing it up with a shortcut key works fine for me.

You really want them to spend time on something like this when it takes less than 10 seconds to log in and type /age?
I understand how annoying it can be to check several characters for birthday gifts, but a piece of paper or txt document would probably be the best way to keep up with that information. Just my two cents.

Or you can log in to a character, type /age, then repeat for any and all characters you want that info for.

This has been suggested before! It would be nice to have one's characters birthdays displayed on the log in screen.

The current character selection screen is fairly elegant. I wouldn't want information clutter there when it is already accessible through taking 10 seconds to log in with a character when curious.
