I just recently finished guild wars: prophecies (was introduced to gw last month, and I am loving it!) and want to continue on so that I can get to the Hall of Monuments eventually. I have question about the guild wars trilogy pack, the trilogy pack has prophecies, factions, and nightfall and only costs 39.99, but the individual expansions (either factions, nightfall, or Eye of the North) cost 29.99, so I was thinking it would be better to just buy the trilogy. My problem is that if I buy the trilogy do I have to re-do prophecies because I'm getting the trilogy which has prophecies, or is it considered already done since I beat my copy of prophecies? Another question I have is do you think I'll have time to be able to beat factions, nightfall, and Eye of the North? (if I were to play about an hour or two a day, but taking some nights off; and yes, I know there is not a specific release date yet.)
Thanks!,

You will add the serial key to your existing copy of Guild Wars - all your characters and progress will be intact.
The trilogy is not much use if you're looking to work on your Hall of Monuments - you MUST have Eye of the North, as that's where the HoM is situated.
Look for the Guild Wars Complete Collection instead - if available in your part of the world...

Your progress is registered on your account, so you won't need to do anything again.

So yeah, GW2 won't be released until at least the end of 2011, you'll have time to finish everything.

If you cant find the whole package deal, I say go ahead and get the trilogy just to experience all the campaigns and different classes. This will also give you four extra class slots which is cheaper then buying them individually. Nightfall also gives you access to heroes, which are cool if you want to solo. You can probably pick up EOTN pretty cheap on Amazon, which I did last month for 11 bucks including shipping.
