Price Check

I got a Req9 strenght Darkwing Defender that I have not id'ed yet. What is it worth and shoudl I id it and add enhancments to it. Would that make it worth more?

Selling gold items unidentified is only worthwhile if they're crap. People want to id them for their wisdom title.

Adding mods to an item doesn't really add to it's value, except for Forget Me Not inscriptions which are worth a lot.

Why is 1 point so big? I id'ed this shield and it had a +30 and I put a inscription on it that matches a darkwing in the highend area that is selling for multiple ectos. So my questions is why is a req8 str worth so much more than a req9 str?

Req8 is far more rare and needs less attribute points to have the max armor but it's usually more about the rarity when it comes to strength shields.

People have always collected R8 stuff mainly for the rarity - most of it really does not make a difference except R7 and R8 Tactics shields are used in PvP for a monk build. The rest is just because they have tons of money and want something rare.

q9 str Darkwing gold is 50-60k. Fast sale, people are raving about these.
