Ex Diku Mud Addicts [iMud]

N/

Greetings,

This is my attempt to recruit you to our band of ragtag misfits . . .

The legacy left behind by DikuMud has evolved in Guild Wars into this group of people highly interested in playing for the sake of fun, balancing socializing with combat and adventuring. When you come to play in iMud it should feel like putting on an old, comfortable hat. The guild is over 5 and a half years old, so we've had our share of ups & downs. Now we're an active guild within the Everlasting Sacred Path [ESP] alliance.

We are currently seeking like-minded mature individuals that are going to be respectful, friendly, mature, and active in the game. A good sense of humor will help a lot, quirky, but not too twisted. Attention-seeking immature people, however, aren't tolerated very long. Also, members inactive more than 30 days tend to be booted unless we're notified of your temprary leave.

You can expect to play in a casual atmosphere instead of being hyped, pushed, prodded, or otherwise told you're lower-class. We do often take people to elite areas and do zaishen quests, etc, but it's best just to take it lightly and enjoy yourself.

We're a Kurzick guild of about 65-80 members typically, and while we aren't all the most elite and experienced, we try to have a lot of fun along the way. Ventrage is not tolerated, and helping fellow mudders is always encouraged.

♠ These things we've enjoyed often amongst our comrades:
JQ | FA | The Deep | Urgoz's
FoW | UW | Title-hunting
Vanquishes | Dungeons
Weekly Theme to focus on (for those that choose to)
Weekly [Amateur] Saturday Scrimmages (a fun, social, teams-event)
Dedicated Teamspeak 3 server (not required, but highly recommended to try)
Vent servers in the alliance are also open to us
Forums at www.iMud.org

♣ Currently our GvG/HA team is slowing down, needing a pick-me-up, and in need of players willing to commit to either a weeknight or weekend time-slot (Generally American times). Experience is not as important as willingness to be there to participate and communicate with fellow team members... but experience is much appreciated. Rank, likewise, is not going to stop us from enjoying ourselves. (Oh, and did I mention we're just as willing to learn from you?)

Personally I'm a well rounded player, rather than being pvp or pve oriented, and I don't consider myself high-end, but level-headed. I'm recruiting for creative pvp players just as much as title-seeking pve players to enjoy the game with. And as always, life comes first.

I should also mention that we have current plans to carry on in Guild Wars 2 once released. In fact almost the whole alliance has plans like that. No one knows yet how that will look exactly, but it's plain to see that people matter, more than ranks and allegiances.
