I'm getting loads of error code 40 and 15s while trying to do Jade Quarry. It started about half an hour ago, was fine before.

Same here..Just recently built a new rig, my end is fine. Started happening last night in JQ..game freezes in the middle of a fight, then times out. Sometimes it asks to reconnect and sometimes its just frozen. Was in a r10+ group in HA too..
Could possibly be that many people coming back to GW's after the derv update?
I know ping gets a tad higher on the weekends but this is serious. Get the boys some overtime and patch it up..HA is trying to revive itself.

one account gets guild weirdness and odd lag so mesmering people to death becomes hard

both are euro accounts but the one with problems uses american districts

I was in a different guild, had a different guild cape (could wear it) and when I tried to enter our guild hall, it said "You may not enter that outpost".
When I tried to enter out guild hall again, gw crashed and a whole Arenanet error report window popped up asking me to report the problem (it specified a GuildAlliance problem).
Funny stuff.

Use pathping. You don't know if it's server problems, or you ISP, or any one of a dozen+ intermediate nodes until you run some diagnostics.
A couple nights ago I was having severe lag. Traced it down to Level3 (an intermediate carrier) misrouting my packets, then dropping them. (Notes to Level 3: NYC -> Newark -> NYC -> Texas is not a good path. Neither is Austin -> Austin -> Austin -> Austin.)

Cause of the problem for me points to some pccw global transatlantic router, seems that's where all my data packets are getting lost.

Monk d/cs on an UW run at the start. After we restarted, I kept having lag spikes and d/cs throughout the run. It being my first time down there outside of farming didn't help either.

This happened on Friday night aswell, but last night was bad, it has to be linked to the Euro servers, my guild had an UW run going last night, we left from ED1 and 5 of our team got Err7 the rest got Err5
No one in the alliance that was in the American Servers was reporting any issues, when i got back into game, and it eventually let me change out to American Districts i had no more issues.
