Want to form an UWSC practice group?

Canceled, because there never seems to be enough people online at the same time to do it.

i'd be down to go as part of a practice group, i used to play a lot of pvp then quit around when EotN came out and havent played since then so i never really got into all the SC stuff but i have been wanting to learn.

Ok cool. You're the third person. So, we just need a few more people and we'll hopefully be able to begin doing this. I'll add you you my friends list and once there are enough people, we'll go down there.


For everyone reading this: I want to make this clear. I cannot teach you or tell you what to do, or tell you which position you'd be best at. You have to learn and decide for yourself. I'm very new to it myself, so I probably won't be too much help at first. Once we each understand one role, we can switch and help each other learn the other ones. But until then... it will be difficult. I have a few tips though.

This page lists all the builds, how they work, and links to videos that explain in depth what the various team members do. The videos are very good, and you'll understand the basics of what you need to do if you watch them enough.

This page links to articles about all the quests and monsters in the Underworld. It's good to read it and understand things like, don't take quests unless you're sure it's okay, don't try to fight aatxe without some protection against their attacks, don't fight mindblades without protections against interrupts, watch out for meteor showers from terrorweb dryders, etc. etc.

Solo farming UW with Signet of Spirits, or being run through it once or twice can also give you some good lessons. Farming and chest running in general seems like good practice. So, it's helpful to have some experience with that.
