I used to quite enjoy running a scythe on my monk although now with all the changes to 90% of the skills... (and having VERY little gaming time available atm to run tests sadly... ) ...and it seems some bars are coming up as been pretty solid, like pious spam et al..

**i did search and see some n/d dark aura, w/d enduring..but i was kinda looking for something more monk/D :P so im not just begging, just hoping people with more time and exp with the new derv can shed some light here for a rusty old vet :P

..Is mysticism needed as a primary attribute for running a derv~ish or is there the possibility ..

currently i do odd stuff like earthshaker monk and 100b monk so i know if anything is possible it wont be ultra optimised to say the least!! to take away the boredom... Anything possibility here?

I guess id be looking towards VoS, sand shards, ermites as a basis?

Advantage of mysticism now is the reduced cost of enchantments...it really really helps.

Makes it so that 5E enchants can basically be spammed continually and 15 E are only 7E at 13 Myst

Lots of good skills in Mysticism too...would lose out on those

If monk enchants did anything at all with dervs, you've had something, but unfortunately they don't...

Your best bet is likely pious renewal spam, have balthazar's spirit on you and hope you get hit... 5e 0r is cheaper than any other enchant.

Sand shards is in my experience somewhat mediocre, and not worth the energy cost without mysticism. You can work vow of strength on not much energy if you just limit your other enchants to what is needed for a single teardown, either twin moon or eremite's.
