Norn Fighting Tournament Build

Hey guys,

Nothing special but I didn't want to spend gold on making my dervish a /Rt and getting SoS, so I made this build for the NFT. It's pretty much the win button against most enemies you face.


SM : 8+1+1
WP : 12+1
Myst : 10+2 (or +1, doesn't matter I imagine)

1. Heart of Fury
2. Lyssa's Assault/// any quick interrupt
3. Rending Touch (better than rending sweep, doesn't require adren)
4. Attacker's Insight
5. Guiding Hands
6. Mystic Vigor
7. Grenth's Aura
8. Avatar of Grenth

Not a very clever build but it's quite easy as you can see.

Usage :
AoG + Grenth's Aura up at all times. Cast Mystic Vigor before starting to hit them. Cast Attacker's Insight once they start hitting you (or against the wastrel's users, keep it to nullify their damage). Spam HoF once it's up and interrupt dangerous skills.

Guiding Hands can help just incase of blocking or blinding that some of the NPCs use.

The only fight I had any trouble with was the last one and it was 50/50. It;s easy if :
1) Don't block Irresistible... it will knock you down leaving you vulnerable to take tons of damage.
2) Interrupt or stop attacking when he uses Counter Blow. Same reason as above.
3) Keep Attacker's Insight up 9 seconds out of 10. (Well, to specify, in this fight use it after Irresistible is used).


There you go, enjoy your free wins. There might be some NPCs I didn't run into that can be dangerous but I did it a few times and didn't have any trouble even against enchant spammers.



P.S : Don't try doing Cold as Ice with this build. It... doesn't go very well.

I`ll stick to my sos spamming in nft - does the job easily enough

Very handy if you can't change you secondary profession yet. This would have helped me too...about a year ago.

*Or not, as the skills would have been totaly different back then
