Today i logged in and loaded my pre char to try the pre vanguard bounty again.
I noticed an Vanguard (rank) icon, saying my armor is improved while doing missons for the Ascalon Vanguard.
Couldnt find a Vanguard Title in my Hero (H) screen though.

Didnt notice that yesterday, was that implemented with EB/7heroes update already or last night?

AND, does anyone know how or how much your armor is improved ?!

It's simply an armor boost you get when you are doing one of the Vanguard quests from Langmar. I don't know by which amount.

But Ascalon Vanguard =/= Ebon Vanguard

Hmm ok, its pretty new, so we have to wait till more info shows up on Guru and/or Wiki. :-\

I was kinda hoping this Ascalon Vanguard thingy would be similiar in idea to Ebon Vanguard rank.
Like, 10 ranks, and the icon mentioning how much armor u have extra with each rank.
Like, character lvl11-20 equals Ascalon Vanguard Rank 1-10

I agree, that would be nice
However if they did that you could max an additional title in pre that post characters wouldn't be able to get. So I don't see this happening..

The only reason you get the buff is cause you can't get max armor in Pre. It's not a title or anything, just something for when you hit higher levels, you'll have equivalent armor to your level.
