Turn off PvP notice for hero Skills

You cant use heroes in PvP anyway.
They should turn off notices like:

Death Pact Signet has been updated on Olias's Skill Bar for PvP.

Especially now that there are 7 heroes available, I get like 40 notices about that everytime I zone to Guild Hall.

Though I guess the more skills it mentions, the more OP your skillbars are, since all of them had to be nerfed for PvP.

If you have a couple rit heroes, chances are all 8 of their skills have PvP versions. (Spirit casttime)

EDIT: This is what I mean. Can't even fit all of it on one page.

dont harp on my hero bars. i purposefully picked the skillbars to show the extremes of what this spam does.
i usually run much cooler stuff.

i also wish guild hall was a pve area, cause i always have to leave gh when making a hero bar so i know what the skills will do in pve

I still wish there was some option to change between pvp and pve for how you see it for places like the gh And gtob.

heroes should just be immune to this:

They cannot be used in PvP, why should their skills update for PvP.

I do agree its annoying to get what used to be the message for 3 heros and you but now its 7x and you for each skill. But damn annoying when you check a skillbar and its in pvp skills and your about to do pve.
If anet can code in the usless ready icon ( do they really think its usefull when players before used 1 and still went in if you wasnt even rdy ) then they should add an option to say the guildlord to switch between pvp and pve skill descriptions for that chr.Just walk to him and choose and it lasts for the time duration you are in the gh - problem sorted and it wont affect gameplay nor other players as you will only see it.
so im going /signed with this one

Best of both worlds. Or a toggle.

/signed to all these annoyances. i wish we could toggle between pve and pvp in the gh. plus yes, we shouldn't have to see that spam with the heroes or even with us if we had the toggle between pve and pvp.

Heroes in the GH serve one useful purpose for GvGers: tinkering with team builds without having to switch characters.

I'd suggest making it a toggle.

Can we get rid of the update notices period, or give us an option to turn them off. I understand why they put those messages in, but I don't need to be reminded every. Single. Time. I. Zone.

I got over 40 lines once.

I much rather prefer to have it toggle-able.

Keep them updated on the skill bar itself, just merge it all into one message: "Since you have entered a PvP area, -x- skills have been updated to their pvp form".

Yes, I've always thought that a good judge of build strength

I like this idea, or just a toggle in the menu for the messages.

This really should have been an option already, ages ago.

The only people who're using it as a PvP area are GvGers. Pretty sure they're an extreme minority.

I came here today specifically to post about this problem and was thrilled to see that others felt my pain. As a guild leader of a primarily PvE guild I have moaned many times about having to go to a town to look at skills for new builds to try. Isn't our GH supposed to be our place of refuge and regrouping? A "one time" toggle would be perfect since most people primarily play either PvE or PvP. I would like my choice to remain constant for every entry into my GH until I chose to look at the other version.

I also agree that the skill change spam is absolutely monumental. Since I normally have only necro and rit heroes equipped, my spam was horrible even before the seven hero update. I can't even tell you how many lines of text that i needed to see were missed just because of zoning into GH.

Actually, you should be able to double click the PvP area icon to turn off it's effect. You are still in PvP outpost and after entering any PvP area your skills are modified to PvP, but while in the outpost, your skills behave like in PvE and the PvP icon in (mostly) top left cornes is different to warn you, that you turned it off.

This setting remains until you turn it on.

It's almost a blessing in disguise. I didn't think there would ever be a reason for players to make a push for change or Anet to sit up and take notice.

Frankly, I'll take a mute to all non-essential green text, but /signed for either GH toggle or change to notifications.
