People who judge your aptitude based on your armor are complete morons and should be disregarded.

Now, of course, the problem could be that you are indeed playing poorly and they're just insulting your attire for the hell of it, which is something that you'll have to address yourself.

The only way of getting pretty armor that doesn't involve RPs is through spending Zaishen Coins at Tolkano.

I wonder how those players used to cope when we only had the pve armor for pve chrs and standard pvp armor for pvp chrs - you either used pvp chr and stuck with crap looking or used pve chr and their pve armor.I really thought players were almost off the "my armors so leet and i look so cool and im a great player" part but sadly it seems to have returned.
Im waiting for the part where you are judged not only on armor but weapons as well :S.
I will say this tho - if they saw my male rit they`d lol as hes staying in starter pve armor ( 330rt ) and my other female rit was noob armor dyed black yet both cope so easily in hm in noob armor so they can judge that lol.

You could bother or you could just don't care.
Your choice.

Like Lemming said, it is pretty clear that they are the arseheads here

I can guarantee that no one makes fun of people based solely on their armor. myself and many other people roll pvp characters all the time, and get the same exact armor as you. There are of course the couple exceptions for those trying to showoff their armors, but any of those i've seen are actually pretty terrible anyway.
