3 hero melee frontline

In short, does anyone have some good ideas on how to make one?
Recuirements: It has to take good advantage of Great Dwarf Weapon, cause that will be on 24\7. And have some decent survivability.
Dervishes have the advantage of insane damage. But Warriors have increased knockdown time. Which when youre knocking down everything around you all the time, is a pretty neat party trick.
And yeah, im stuck. Cause while I can easely find something that works great i never escape the feeling that it's lacking. And tripchop which I used on warriors im having trouble getting good energy management with.

What is your proffesion?
If your an rit, not only does your GDW last longer, but you can have Earthbind, witch will make your derv heroes as good as warrior Kd's
maybe make all have Avatar of grenth and Grenth's Aura, that will keep them from getting hurt to much.

If you gonna run Warrior, go Warrior's Endurance.
I hate Adrenaline build because it takes too long. Same with Dervish, I rather spam 5e/10e Attack skill. The fight usually end in 10-20sec anyway

Warriors aren't too great. You can't have a decent IAS other than Frenzy/Flail. Neither of those are viable on heroes. That's why the only vetted hero build for warriors is Warrior's Endurance + Burst of aggression, since Dwarven Battle Stance can't even be upkept without Dwarven Stability.
For assassins, without Critical Agility they're semi-squishy, pushing 80 armor with blessed or 85 with nightstalker. Also AI can't chain stuff (anything more than lead-offhand-dual) for crap.
For Dervishes, they can't use teardowns very well, so if you run teardowns only have enchantments you want torn down (i.e. don't use something like Faithful Intervention with Wearying strike). The benefit of the Dervish is you can get 70+15+10=105 armor with 10 Mysticism + 3 enchants, or 70+10+10=100 armor if you run blessed instead of windwalker. Since they can run an IAS and IMS at the same time they aren't at a disadvantage. If you run a Avatar, it usually works better with teardowns than something like Vow of Strength or Onslaught.

Perhaps 3 Avatar of Dwayna Dervishes, limited teardowns, with Mirage Cloak and Shields of Force. Then they would be self healing, heal each other incl any minions, good melee blocking and causing frequent AE knockdowns. Then send them for the ranged foes first with melee foes following so as ranged foes also get knocked down.

I ran a 3 Avatar of Balthazar build and it was pretty fun in FoW.

Personally I would get a MM and call it a day, but if you must go with a melee hero the only decent alternatives I know of is the aforementioned WE/BoA Warrior or Dwayna's Derv. Everything else seems horrible IMO.
IronSheik
3 grenth dervishes with sand shards, rit hero with earthbind, smite hero with SoH
EDIT: Orders doesn't work with cold from grenth![Big Grin](../../Img/biggrin.gif)

I'm shocked that no one placed Soldier's Stance into account for a warrior IAS. Though, I digress from most people. There's no real advantage of a KD/SY! spam build, anyway.

X Dr Pepper X
Crippling Victory, Chilling Victory, Zealous Sweep, Heart of Fury, Sand Shards, Vow of Strength, Intimidating Aura, Res Sig
I use a physway hero set up with 2 more phys heroes, a MM, an Order of Vampirism Necro with Weaken Armor, Mark of Pain and Barbs, and 1 SoS rit with SW and Ancestor's.
I avoid teardown enchants because I cannot find a set up that heroes use well. Hopefully I can figure out a setup that works with Avatar of Balthazar well.
