Higher level hero, XP affected?

Hi everyone, I've tried searching but have had no luck finding the answer.

I'm levelling through the Nightfall campaign and picked-up M.O.X. at level 11. M.O.X. is level 20.

If I take him as a Hero, is there a reduction in the XP I'll receive due to the level difference, and him being much higher level than the surrounding mobs?

The more that is in your party the smaller the xp received to you

One thing to remember on leveling up heros is ,

When you do a quest and you go to receive your reward take of your high level heros and put back on the low level ones so they get the xp benifit.An example is Koss i never level him up until he does his own leveling /quest line that way he will be 20 by the time his line is done.

So when he gets his rewards I add any low level ones to reap the benifit.

If you have access to hard mode then just take 1 low level at a time to boreal then kill a few wurms they usually level up a level per run.

Or do the quests around Kiang center(Factions) as its 3k a quest and you can do with high level heros then as above exchange heros to get the 3k of XP per quest

Your XP depends only on the party size and the level difference between you and the foes. The level of the other members of the party (human, henchman, or hero) does not matter. For example, if the party size limit is four, you will get the same amount of XP whether you take three level 15 heroes or three level 20 heroes.

Also, pets do not count. It does not matter how many members of your party have pets, they will not reduce the experience gained by the player (or hero) members of the party.

Or if you have access to nightfall hm you can wurm lvl heros easily - dont even need set builds

Another way that I find efficent to level up your heros is when you turn in quest rewards make sure that put your low level heros in the party.
