I am trying to complete malyx the unwielding with heroes, i have defeated lord jadoth but having problems completing these two.
are there any specific things i need to know about them?, in the foundry i keep dying in the third room with the titans.
i run balthazar dervish with discort team, panic, intepediute, sos, and a supportive spirit master.

Discord is your main problem,I would be confident that Anguish Titan's are stealing Panic too,which won't help balled heros. Save Yourselves! would probably be a good investment too with AoB's adrenaline gain.
Blind won't be helping either,make sure you have a quick way of removing it.
For Gloom you really need a good form of hex removal if you are relying on adrenaline. Convert Hexes/Spotless Mind works well to remove deep stacked Soothing Images but it would probably need microed to save heros wasting it.
Weaken Armor is useful also,this brings armor down by 20 thus increasing your damage.

Discord wont work well on mallyx, theres plenty of help already on doing DOA with heroes in this thread:

I'm doing this too, Ravenheart was a piece of cake, Foundry is annoying though - The second I don't pull a group = all groups within a 10 mile radius become heat seekers

From what i've seen Foundry is mainly a matter of tactics and damage reduction, SY would be ideal imho, and in the 3rd room remember to run to the top-right corner and pull one group of mobs at the time from there, having care not to aggro additional groups (try to learn their patrols).
Also, i've managed to do Mallyx with discordway. Obviously, the discord necros were useful against the initial waves and the margonites spawns with Mallyx. To kill Mallyx himself, though, discord isn't useful at all, but i've managed to kill him with spirits and PvE skills spamming (ebon assassin and YMLAD).
I did also Ravenheart Gloom with the same discordway team. The idea is to kill mobs one-by-one super-quickly, and i've found no problems, even though i agree that AoE damage would be better in that circumstance.
All this is in normal mode obviously.
