Kath hammer farming

Howdy

I'm planning on getting 45/50 for my HOM, and looking at possible titles to get, I came across kath hammers as an easy way to get legendary survivor.

I was hoping though that you guys could help me on clarifying a couple of things...

I know you get one by completing a dungeon and getting the hammer from the chest...how difficult is the dungeon though? Can I simply run through it with a group of heroes/henchies, or am i going to need a specialised build to complete it?

Also, as a rough estimate, how long does it take to complete the dungeon?

But you should know that any hm farm + scrolls is faster than farming hammers

Actually if you want to farm hammers (alone) it will take ages. Katha hammers have sence if you buy it from serval people who doing Kathandrax SC.

If you really want to get survivor I would point to kilroy or veattirs (with bonder/s). On veattirs with blue scrolls you can get survivor in around 4 hours.

However if you rly want to do katha - probably with normal team you can finish it in around 30 minutes, maybe 20. Dungeon isn't the easiest, but it is not so hard at all. There was special build to run this dungeon but it would be harder and probably it would need consumables so.

I am not closed at all to other possibilities, and if there are methods faster than kath hammers, then im totally willing to look at other methods.

I simply want to reach Legendary survivor as quickly as possible

I did it with spirits outside Boreal Station, with a 5min gold scroll 800g/ea, I gained average 9450 xp/3 minutes. And the 800g I usually got back in drops like lockpicks and gold. This is the best way if your connection can be unstable at times as you're almost guaranteed to keep survivor if you lag out, compared to vaettir/kilroy.

Consider also Kathsc: fast, easy and groups are quite frequent, if your aim is save hammers(to be used by you or sold is just your choiche).

It's be a new character, so was thinking eiter ele or rt

Ele can easely farm Vaettirs.
Rits can easely farm wurms
ele's can though also farm rits nearly as fast.

If you have enough money just buy the hammers... cuz itll take forever to farm enough for the survivor title...

you have to do kathandrax ~178 times to get legendary survivor.

unless i'm mistaken, you can get legendary survivor from vaettirs in <178 runs, and each run is significantly shorter than a kathandrax run.

the only way hammers are viable is if you have alot of moola and buy off 8 or more different ppl, who did like 20 runs each.

or have 8 accounts, and solo the dungeon, then take the other 7 accounts (which probably need to have assassins to run to chest) along with you.

Nowdays you can horde hero books, and get an instant survivor.

If you're a mesmer, assassin, ele, monk (or even para i think) just do vaettir farm with double xp scrolls (blue scrolls). It's quite save, VERY fast and you get nice items to sell.
