Still okay to use Texmod+Cartography Made Easy?
Emma Panzerbergen
I haven't played in a while, and I've decided to finish Cartographer now that I'm back. Was just wondering if Anet still considered it fair play to use the aforementioned tool to help with Cartographer. Thanks.

Yeah, it's fine. It's the same 'go ahead, but we're not officially supporting it so if something bad happens because of it it's your problem' deal like it always was.
BFG
Yes, it's fine.

As stated on the wiki. "Use at your own risk", but the chances of something happening are very slim. Have fun!

Nothing will happen to you, good luck and have fun!

Actually, you can get weird looking skins and textures in dungeons if you have it running when NOT actively mapping outdoor regions.
Still, I think the title would be one of the worst in the game without Texmod. I did Legendary Master of the North, and scraped the edges of everywhere I VQ'd. I went back and checked, I'm missing huge chunks of the map (I ended up VQing all but one area to make up for it). With Texmod, I can be sure I did hit those edges, especially the places you have to jiggle the camera.
If Texmod wasn't available/banned, I'd probably just give up on the Cartography titles. Which would make it pointless to go for 50/50, or for GWAMM, so I'd stop skill capping and VQing too. Which would basically mean there'd be nothing new for me to do at all. So, hooray for ANet letting us use Texmod!
