7 heroes and level scaling

I completed Warband of Brothers (Cathedral of Flames) last night for about the eighth time (different characters each time), using a seven-hero party for the first time. Maybe it's my imagination, but there seemed to be more Charr than ever, on the way to the boss. My party was wiped out many times. My question is, does GW scale to the level of our party?

nop, it's just your imagination.

GW2 will, though.

Okay. Thanks, Bright Star Shine. I guess I need to make better builds for that character and party.

The enemies and quests in GWEN do not scale to your party size.

I just did Warband the other day, for the umpteenth time (12 characters, plus repeats for books). I didn't notice any difference, except that the 7 hero party was as easy as 2 humans + 6 Heroes had been. (NM, no wipes - very few, if any, hero deaths)

True. I need to learn to pull the mobs better.

For Warband of Brothers i found using a good minion master very helpfull.
Especially for the part with the large amount of spiders.

When you say "on the way to the boss," do you mean in that last big room with the effigies, or prior to it? If you're referring to that room, there are charr mobs tucked away in the wings on either side. They'll come join the fight if you don't clear them out first, though sometimes if you're fast enough, they won't.

So if in prior runs you somehow didn't trigger them, and this time you did, then there were in fact more charr -- not your imagination -- but it's not a new feature of the mission nor does it have anything to do with your party composition.

Actually, I always Leeroy in and go straight for the boss, which will end the mission. If I fail, meh, I'll try pulling, but so far, it always worked out.

I was thinking more of the Charr in the levels before that, the ones patrolling. Though it's true that the final battle is difficult if you don't somehow counter the Effigies, as they were burning down my characters in a single blast of Mind Burn. In the end I was able to hit the boss from a side stairway while the Effigies were on the other side of the platform.
