Will the 6th Anniversary Event be any different?

Hi Folks

The 5th Anniversary event was a huge let down to most folks after the 4th Anniversary event where they gave customers a free storage pane and it generally felt different. 5th Anniversary just felt like...normal.

So can we hope that there will be some new goodness? Or dare I say it they will have new costumes (sigh) and nothing really new to offer? Will they bring our WoC as part of the new stuff?

I just hope for the sake of some guildies that they put the free storage tab up for good.
They missed out on it due to the ncsoft master account thing where lots of people couldn't remember their passwords for a 4 year old account they never used.
Now there is that greyed out present thingy looming in the storage they can never get.

Any new content is great but if they just put the nightmare mini in for this years Bday collection I'll be satisfied.

That's quite sad and i agree with you yes. But it seems that the majority of players are satisfied with only new minis whatever they are and costumes so , why would they change anything ?..

However , my thoughts are on winds of change released with some costumes like you mentionned for 6th anniversary...

Id be happy with a 50% off on all anet store items. That would be a great b-day present for both sides, devs and players alike.

And yes..another piece of content never hurts, tho I dont see it happening any time soon. Hope I'm wrong.

There was an interview a while back where it was revealed that something interesting will be happening in April. Can't wait to see what will happen.

I'm really, really hoping they give a mini me as the 6th anniversary gift. They've already proven they can do something like that with the merc heroes.

I'm hoping they send me a pizza for the 6th anniversary. I think I'd really enjoy that.

Did they even do anything for the 5th anni? it was so boringly normal I don't remember a single special thing about it.

I hope they do something cool like give a free character slot or some such. Tabs do little good if you already have them all, but are nice for people who don't.

yes, john said they had something up for april---dont know if it has to do with the bday or not, also had rumors about something other than a mini (and no, you wont get a mini you)...cant remember where I read it though (been reading a bit much about too many other things recently to even try to find it).
I doubt that we will get anything similar to the 4th anniversary ever again--but that is just my take on it. So if you are hoping for storage panes or more zaishen type stuff, I feel you might not get what you want. If you are hoping for the cantha arc to FINALLY start you might be spot on.
(I will just be happy that my rit is getting her 5th bday gifts----)

I actually dont need anything, 4 accounts and 39 character slots = plenty of storage. 50/50 on main account, 48/50 on second account so dont need phat loot or minis. Just would love to see something special happen, you know to make it feel different.

What they did with the storage panes is that it gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling, that was nice . Being treated as a customer is always good.

Would love a Dhumm ban hammer on all the cheats (botters and macros users) in snowball GvG. Now that would be awesome.

Or an interesting quest chain (not WoC because that we know we are getting).

If you can link what you have read that would be great, no rush we are use to being kept waiting.

i dont remember the 5th anniversary only the 4th. tells you how mind numbingly boring it was. i wish they give us WoC then or hopefully soon. would love a new costumes and 50% off in the store. xD

I'd love a 50% off sale in the store. That would actually provide incentive for me to shop there... I'd probably pick up a 3-merc pack and a makeover kit or maybe the wedding costumes.

They should of kept the 7hero update for the 6th birthday.

An in store sale would be great. I could always use more character slots/ storage panes. I've been eyeing that merc pack but I just can't justify the cost right now. Same with the character renames.

I'd also love to see some of the henchmen get opened up for access as heroes, since henchmen are near useless now, and it'd keep people from whining about the merc pack being unfair.

Maybe even allow access to certain henchmen as heroes early on in the tyrian and canthan campaigns, so new toons wouldn't have to start in Nightfall just to get heroes quickly.

What's the last bit of actual content that you were charged for? I think it was the EotN expansion...honestly, I'd be happy if they made something big enough that it warranted being sold.

Btw, for the people who can't remember: last year's content update was supposed to be the WiK, but it was delayed. I'm hoping this year's isn't.
