Hello,

I would like to suggest some changes for Alliance Battles (AB), In my opinion as many others as i know, its one of the best parts of the game(and one of the most played). And since the update of rewards in The Jade Quarry & Fort Aspenwood its imposible to play AB, and the rewards you get are much lower than in JQ & Fort. That is making people play only JQ & Fort, or any faction farm. And theres loads of people that would like to play AB but its dead becouse of this and the rewards you get are very low.

So i would suggest to add +1k/1.5k/2k Kurzick/Luxon points per win in all the maps. Knowing that you get 3.5k/per win in JQ and Alliance Battles are much harder and you have to make a team, i think its perfectly posible(even adding +5 baltazar point per dead).

In my opinion it will be very positive for the game and even more knowing that AB is one of the most entretaining thing in Guild Wars. And also i will add, that theres loads of people wanting this to happen.

Alliance Battles is one of the best segments of PvP play I have ever participated in. I played it mostly in 2007 and it was starting to die so I kinda stopped playing it slowly. I'd like to get back into it but in it's current state, I'd be wasting my time.

I like the faction increase idea, personal I think the base rate for a win should be equal to that of JQ so 3.5k and then you add modifiers based on the map.

If such an idea is implemented hopefully it will change the maps more frequently. However, if it does not fix that problem, I really think they should also look into randomizing the maps.

Even if they increase in the rewards nobody will really play it. The maps are massively imbalanced plus the maps never move. I played AB for two years and I only learned at the end that there were more then two maps. But that's not what stopped me from playing. It was the waiting. You end up waiting longer then get to play in a match.

They need balanced maps or to just make them random. Rewards win or lose have always sucked.

Bottom line.

AB is great but its design causes it to old quick anymore. I'd love to see better rewards but I also love better maps or at least the rest of them not just the same two over and over.

The reason why you have to wait a lot and people dont play it, its becouse you can play Jade Quarry and Fort Aspenwood without making a team, its much more easier and you get quite more rewards than in AB, thats why theres nobody plays it.

The maps are not unbalanced, if luxons are winning a lot the kurzick will play on their maps, and luxon will have more challenge and better rewards. and the same for kurzicks. Ive played AB for more than 4 years and you can perfectly win in any map.

Youve played AB for 2 years, since the update of JQ & Aspenwood, thats why you have seen long waitings. all the AB people changed to that becouse you get much more things, and since that AB have become more and more dead and people who loved AB or even others have been finding AB imposible to play, becouse people that want their ranks go to JQ or aspenwood.

AB will have long waitings, no people until they balance the rewards with Jade Quarry/Aspenwood or even higher rewards, knowing that AB is harder and you have to make a team. Then probably quite some AB lovers, JQ & Aspenwood players and others general players will play AB, and it wont be so dead. People that want their ranks and nice rewards will also play it.

And even they cud add some maps or change somethings so people will come back, but i think thats secundary. The main problem is the rivarly between JQ/Aspenwood and AB, and AB is dead becouse of that.

Out of nostalgia's sake, yes! The rewards always sucked, but I'd be happy to see it get back to life. Used to do it a lot back in the day^^

Yes, upping the reward will make people play again so I won't have to wait so long in between matches when it's the AB Zquest.
