Am trying to do the Pre Vanguard Quests with a new warrior char (lvl11 atm), but this Countess Nadya...
Empathy on my warrior and Backfire on my Imp and were both dead in no time
And THEN she's also surrounded by Bandits, this VQ appears not possible solo (well, with an Imp though).
Tips anyone?
2 of those bandits together were managable, but with Countess Nadya also...
EDIT: nvrmind, after a few times, focusing on Nadya, managed to get her killed just before i wiped.
tips for killing Countess Nadya?

I died...and on way back my fire imp had killed her

My L10 W/R died trying to kill her - but my pet managed to kill her before I rezzed and my Fire Imp got the bandits around her by the time I got back.

Don't attack with empathy on you >_>. If you have any self heals, try to kite and spam them. Once empathy wears off, go on the offensive. By that time, hopefully your imp has taken care of at least one of the bandits. Rinse and repeat once you get empathy back on you.

Besides Backfire, Fire Storm is nasty for the Imp.
The Imp does not move away
Also, problem with running away, your Imp doesnt.
Had it with my other VQ pre char, lvl17 N/R atm, against a group of Charr.
Had two that could cast Fire Storm, had to run away from a a melee charr nearly killing me.
The two fire casters managed to kill my Imp before i could safely return.

I was able to pull two bandits without her. The Countess only had one bandit linked to her. Sent wolf in...waited for empathy to wear off while buffing with Troll then went in with frenzy hit her with some bleeding and deep wound and managed to pull a double OK. Imp did his part but didn't make it either.

Did it with my ele pet stalker and imp when I was lvl 10 died killed by a bear while running away.
Imp was already dead.
Did it three times today with my ele and a friend running necro.
My play style it to pick off her followers where possible, using a bow I try to hit and run to lure them away.
The raiders usually outdistance the casters and can be beaten before healing and going for the casters.
When the raiders close on me I cast firestorm and then go heal they usually die and even if they do deep wound and bleeding the troll ungent keeps me alive.
Just do not fight more than 2 at once or it is likely you will die.
I then firestorm the spellcasters since they just stand in it while I flare them for extra damage.
I went ele ranger so I have troll ungent and put enough points into that to get +5 or better, I have to counter her health drain.
Its tricky solo but pretty safe if you find a partner.

My war is lvl 17 so the bandits were 15 and she was 18 for me.
What I did was go after the bandits first, taking them out with bleeding even though I died left her all alone. Then I went back and just wailed away, healing while she empathy'd me and let the bleeding do its thing. Needed to take a few wacks through empathy just to finish her off before she could heal but I survived.
Best bit of advice for people I can give is to go slow and save the imp for the last foe. If you can hold off on using it till the boss is all alone things go much easier.

I spent my time healing myself with empathy on--imp and pet killed the bandits leaving only one wacking at my feet and boss...imp and pet nuked boss, I killed bandit. no deaths. (lots of kiting)
