Can't Login

I just got GW and whenever I try to login it stays at the connecting screen for about a 1/2 min then I get disconnected off the internet (I'm on dial-up) or if I do get past it to create my character, it still disconnects me. The update thing in the corner doesn’t even start. What is going on ???

[EDIT]I re-installed it and restarted my comp and it still won’t work

Yes I opened port 6112. Yes I tried turning off my firewall. Yes I tried turning off everything in task manager. I just don't get it. For some reason it just won't connect to the server. It connects to areanenet, loads up to the login screen then everything just stutters for about a 1/2 min, then disconnects me. The lighning bolt thing in the corner doesn't dl anything either.

I un-installed GW and tried to dl it from the internet instead, but that didn’t work either. I'm seriously running out of ideas here. GW Support is taking forever and I’m starting to lose my patience with it...

Have you tryed updating modem drivers? Or checking to see if your modem is sharing an IRQ with another device? (namely Video, Audio, or USB)

My modem drivers are up to date and it has no IRQ conflicts or anything. Sometimes it actually downloads from that lightning bolth thing in the corner for like a few seconds, then stops and disconnects.
