Survivor title changes query

Good morning

I recently came back to gw as I wanted to work on my hall of monuments.

I saw somewhere that the survivor title was changed where you can get it on characters that have already died...but it seems a little too good to be true

Can I, in other words, get my survivor title on my warrior that has died 500 as long as i gain the needed xp without making it 501 times?

Yes you can get survivor on that warrior.

Yes that is exactly how it works. But if you die the 501th time you can just try again (have to start over from 0xp), so don't worry about dying that 501th time .

I was going for legendary survivor on my mesmer years ago and ended up dying about 30k xp short. Needless to say i lost my taste for it a little

But this might just make me try it again.
