I understand 8/16 Tactics shields are valuable, but what about 7/15 and 6/14 shields? Is there any class other than Monks that use these shields? It's mainly for the inscrip slot right?

It's 50-70K depending on buyer.
It's only for Mo/W more or less (or other /W with 7 spec in Tactics such as a N/W with You're all alone! that ditched soul reaping to 11+2 or 11+1 instead of 12+1 ; you rarely see anything other than casters with tac shields although D/W may dump some points in tac but not 7 ranks).
Without an inscription slot, you'll be hard pressed to find anything with decent stats. It'd have to be gold in order to be dual modded with close to max stats (+9 vs type for example).

what about this kind of shield? Is the 1 less armor going to make a lot of difference ?
