Buff Arcane Echo and Archane Mimicry
Gabs88
Simply put, these are skills that heroes are not very good at using. And hence I think they should be buffed to promote human players. The buff would rather simply mean to reduce the energy cost of the skills to levels where they see more usage.

uh, they're both fine as they are. Both are very niche skills but are useful in their own situations. No reason to buff them, as they are already nicely balanced.

So because heroes don't use it right they should buff the skill? There is a big list on the wiki of skills heroes don't use right, do those need to be buffed too? Or perhaps just give heroes an A.I. revamp? I can foresee that seeing as how heroes are getting a lot more attention since the update so hopefully all these skills will become more viable with an A.I. update.
There are plenty of ways to manage energy without changing the skill. Besides I really can't think of very many practical uses for it. If you're having problems with energy try Auspicious Incantation. I personally think they are right where they need to be.

As pointed out above the skills are fine its the heroes' AI that need fixing to use these skills and others properly.

auspicious incantation + arcane echo =win
pingu666
you do kinda need to use both of them together in most builds ^
I wouldnt mind mimicry getting a recharge buff

I'd rather them be altered so only a mesmer primary can use it. Too powerful as is.

As said above, they fill a very nice niche and they are not really meant to be used by heroes, because heroes are stupid as hell. My favorite example: when chest running, I have to micro "Can't Touch This!" on my paragons when running through Rot Wallow groups, because they don't use it in Wallow groups, ever. However, when I run through a random group of Jade Brotherhood, the first skill BOTH paragons will use is "Can't Touch This!". That's how incredibly stupid they are.

Anyways on topic, they don't need to be fixed they already are powerful when used correctly. The only thing id change is the casting time but that's just my opinion.

I dont want heroes to use them, I want them to see more use among human players. And usually unless its a specific nuking build with a tank or something, its not worth the 15 energy cost.

Ur not validating points and fact just experiances so I doubt you'll get a change. Not to Mention mesmers are overly good enough.

Hell I use Mimicry almost everytime I heal with a full human team.
Hb + Mimicry + UA ally = 202 heal party + 1160 infuse.

My heroes use mimicry very well, echo does suck though.

These are both used in various SC's that involve mesmers, which is a decent amount. Especially since Mesmers are/have been on the rise in speed clears. Mesmers don't need a buff, they are already the most amazing spikers ever.

/notsigned bc heroes are good enough without them
