How much are they worth now? I found a thread from a long time ago and figure I shouldn't go by that.

This is what I am willing to pay and I suspect most buyers:
1st: 5k
2nd: 10k
3rd: 25k
4th: 35k
5th: 40k
This is because:
Most people already have all of the minis of the first year with the exception of the bone dragon which would be worth 50k to 100k. The chances are slim that the present will have this one mini, so the buyer is actually paying for something that they will want to resell. When the HoM first came on board, price of 1st yr. Whites went for 15k and up. Not anymore as most have already bought the cheaper whites.
This is the same reasoning behind the slight rise in price as each yr represents more of a chance that the gift will have a mini the buyer does not have.
Again, remember, the name of the game is to get what you don't have and to sell what you do have; the buyer needs to buy with the idea that they will at least be able to break even. Yes they could very well get that green or gold that is worth 20x the cost of the gift...but most likely they will get a white they will have to sell.
