I just recently started to play again after a few year break, I created an assassin to be my new main and I am currently trying to complete all 4 campaigns as fast as possible, my current build is extremely fast at killing but needs some hex removal for sure and I'm just wondering where on my bars I could add some, advice appreciated. For the last spot I sub in a panic mes in place of the paragon just to see what was faster. Which is more beneficial?

Good god, you even exacerbated it with Fall Back.

Get rid of your paragon, the build is absolute trash.

Agreed everything in this build is trash. This build can do NM but most likely not HM. Your Paragon sucks badly (the worst one on the team). SF nukers don't do a good job in HM at all. The healers are meh. You don't even have SoGM rit in there.

NM: Anyways if you want hex removal, take out a few resurrecting signets from the ele's and fill with Shatter Hex or Smite Hex. BTW, why do you have so many res sigs? If your team is good, no one should die (ESPICALLY IN NM). Get rid of those resurrecting sigs and fill with something good. If you want rez, put Death Pact Signet on the N/RT or RT/.

Team build rating: 4/10
Paragon -4

EDIT: I was looking at your sin's bar. Get rid of your elite and put Moebis in there.

N/Mo physical protter w/ barbs, ps, aegis, soh, and some other utility
N/Mo MM or MB smiter w/ AotL+bone minions or JB+bone minions+death nova, masochism, soh, and some other utility
N/Rt blood healer w/ various healing and blood utilities if you feel like
Rt/any channeling w/ SoS, bloodsong, splinter weapon, ancestor's, and some other utility
Me/any Panic or PI or Keyston

last two heroes: communing rit + a second mesmer would be the default choice.

Just a suggestion though.

Should be ashamed, that and the fact 3 ele are a worst problem for HM (if Gunn was thinking about HM)

On the para topic, I'm indeed not sure about SYG is that good for henchmen, most of them will kyte (I think every non-melee) and I think there are a couple of high-dmg spammable spear skills. And lastly, Using the Elite on a running/HoT skill like incomming is not the best choice, I'd suggest one of the spear attack or something like Soldier'S Fury (or Focussed anger).

Otherwise, You didn't mention if you were talking about HM, if that's the case, the 3 ele are almost pointless, their dammage output is ridiculous (as in low). If in NM, personnally I'd use one to add some utilities (maybe only keep SF, Burning gaze and rest is utility/interupt. You should look up on mes, they really buffed them up if you have the skills unlocked.

A third option would be to use the SoS as a smiter/utility (probably prot in this case) as it's already a Monk primary.

Concerning Panic you mentionned, I never really used it. But I think it's mainly useful on packs of mobs, for most areas I'd take PI. Might want to check it out if you can.

EDIT : think the general concensus is that the para is not the best build around. The rest of the team is decedn for NM, tought. And only the eles really forbid it of entering HM. Might really want to get Strength of Honor considering you'll be landing a lot of blows yourself

To everyone, I think he hasn't done all campaign, seeing as he uses a Mo/Rt for SoS restorer. The build is decent for a character's first playthrough.

I like to think I'm good at this game yet even I could use much help with my builds.

Res signets are a nono in general PvE, you will only kill a boss every 5-10 minutes, so a hard res is preferred unless you get more morales than that, I like to bring 3-4, some people swear on two, up to you.

Fall back is always good, so you wouldn't need sprint on your bar also.

I never liked WotA, it is decent but crit agility gives you the IAS, the extra crit isn't needed, I run flashing blades for the free blocks.

Also don't listen to braxton, moebius is a thing of the past. A sin's elite is generally optional, WotA for more crits, blades for more blocks, even fox's promise can be decent in certain areas, but NEVER moebius, your chain takes 3 seconds to recharge, and less than 1.5 to execute, and you will be pumping out 100+ per hit in HM, you'll never have a chance to use moebius.

You are a melee, so strength of honor should be a staple on your heroes.

Believe it or not, your heroes can pack the hex removal, as well as your rit.

What I did: fixed your bar, rits bar, eles bar, while replacing the interrupts on the eles with a mesmer with fall back.

I understand this eliminates They're On Fire!, but it is up to you what mitigates more damage, an AoE KD, or ToF. You have three eles so deep freeze is a good baller. You must also take into consideration you have 3 AoE KDs, earthbind is a very viable choice you can fit in, but this is all area/preference dependent.

Ele secondaries are optional, want more removal run /mo, more healing /rt, more rupts /me, more damage straight up ele

IMO the eles themselves are your optional slots, replace by more rits/necros/mesmers

Chains with Moebius Strike have a tendency to outdamage chains without, just so you know.

Replace the Eles with something that actually achieve something beyond their secondary prof skills.

Step 1: Are you playing Hard mode?
If yes, drop all 3 eles. They'll be doing about 50-70 damage per Searing Flames and nothing else.

Step 2: Make the Mo/Rt a Rt/Mo. Run Strength of honor. You're a melee. A fast attacking melee to boot (assassin).

Step 3: drop sprint for Dash. It's faster and more "ready".

Step 4: you could probably eek out some damage with the N/Rt if you slot another N/Rt for off-heals

P.S. disregard the "LULZ your build sucks" because some people on this forum can only slam other people without providing any useful advice whatsoever.

You could drop the Paragon for a healer hybrid (N/Rt), seeing how you only have 1 healer and 2 prot. Otherwise, you can slap Mo/any or N/Mo with smiting and put Restoration magic instead of prots on your rit. Prots are less useful in NM simply because anything that isn't a boss won't be hitting you for absurd damage.
