Still, over Halloween, when winning GvG teams were rewarded with 50 trick-or-treat bags per player, people were syncing that to farm bags. What does that tell you?

The only way this would really get newbies involved would be if the rewards were consistantly better than other high end farms. Nobody would care if every foe dropped 100g to be split amongst the party. The threshold for players to make enough money in order to change to PvP AND stay would have to be something absurd (100k+ an hour for winning underworld once or twice). How does that stack up when compared to a good team? Should they be getting 1 mil plus an hour for consistantly winning? I'm going to go right on ahead and say no.
People would abuse the system, and almost nothing would be good enough in the first place.

This is a huge part of my point. People that play GvG complain in here that the format is dying. Instead of good ideas being discussed, it ends up just being barbed words and arguments. Can we at least keep it constructive and try and brainstorm ways to make PvP a more populated and enjoyable experience as opposed to just having this thread degrade into 1st grade taunting and posturing?

Like i mentionned on other thread , all of this wouldn't happen if they made those items dedicated to players( but that can still be sold to merchant)... Eventually that way , the idea Jazilla suggests could be implemented , but i think it's not the way Anet wants to deal with the game , a.k.a making it a farming factory...

Players dropping random loot would be fun. It would be cool if they dropped one of their armor pieces. Not as equippable armor ofcourse but more as trophy item that cannot be traded.

The entire point of PvP is that loot does not matter. If you want loot go waste your time pveing. PvP is about skill.

I never said players should drop their own loot though. If you feel the need to point out my stupidity, at least have the decency to have your reply pertain to the topic. If you weren't going to be relevant at all, just say, "I think monkeys are dumb" and be completely off topic.

but the idea you said was stupid wasn't in my OP at all lol. I never once said players should drop "their" loot. You said that I should go play Diablo if I wanted players to drop "their" loot. That wasn't my suggestion lol.

same thing, theres nothing good about putting more random stuff.
Winning the match should be the reward.
