I apologize if I am starting up a thread inappropriately, but I think this is the right forum for it and I think it is a worthwhile topic.
After accumulating a decent amount of wealth over five years of playing, I have started combining armors to find an aesthetic I like. I can find the form, but now the ideal color is eluding me. Complicating the matter is that different pieces of armor tend to show colors differently. Curse the inconsistency of dye...
I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for colors that would look good on the following armor/avatar arrangement:
Head: Tinted Spectacles
Torso: Elite Rogue
Hands: Chaos
Legs: Obsidian
Feet: Elite Kurzick
If anyone else has questions about armor coloration, maybe they could post here as well? I am just trying to find a combination that balances out nicely among the pieces, especially since the boots dye strangely.

I don't know if one's idea of good combo is another's. It all depends on taste and likes of certain colors, would it not? You can take a look at the chart from wiki to get a feel of the mixes and go with that. Not the best though.

Thanks for the dye chart, Kojima!
I understand that people might have differing ideas of what constitutes a good combination, but then I was hoping those differences might help me come up with a good dye combination.
Still, with the dye chart and a lot of study, my wife and I finally came up with a decent combination for the armor mix.

It looks great. I am amazed that you can come up with a really nice combo on the armor. It looked great even in gray.

Thanks for the kudos. All credit for the coloration goes to my wife, whose color coordination and dress skills inspired me to stop wearing my obsidian armor and try to put together a nice wardrobe for a change. So far I am really digging the results. Whoever said gaming dispositions get carried over into reality had it backwards o_O
