Getting a Soul Reaper

What's the average amount of time it would take to farm Dhuum's Soul Reaper? I haven't participated in UWSC in over a year (since the major UWSC nerf) so I would have to learn the latest meta and then deal with PUGs since I don't have a guild.

Is it worth trying to farm it or should I just buy it? I'm very glad to see it's gone down to 30e from 80e, I'm wondering if I should buy it or if it's going to decrease by substantial amounts in the future.

Its been pretty stable at 30e for a while if you have the cash buy it would be alot easier than dealing with the pugs asking for whatever amount of ghastly stones they are asking for now. Join a guild if you don't want to buy it because it will be pretty hard to pug uwsc without a few ghastly stones and guilds dont usually require stones or will teach you uwsc if thats what they do.

Should have bought it a week or two before the Derv update, they were about 20e then :P.

Does anyone know of any good primer videos for the latest meta so I don't have to join a guild completely empty-handed?

Beat War in Kryta on three of your toons- sell 3 Oppressor weapons for 65-70k ea, then buy ectos at 14e=100k, then buy Dhuum's Soul Reaper at 28e. viola. less than a couple of hours.

How do you do all the war in kryta stuff on three toons in less than a couple of hours?

Couple of hours must = 25+ in your book...plus you have to run around getting all the items to even start WiK??

Granted, that's one of the fastest way to make some cash by selling Oppressor Weapons...but a "couple of hours"??
