During the April Fools' Day mini-mission, the following dialogue takes place:

Quote:

[Character name]: "What is going on here? The Guild Wars have been over for almost 10 years. Where are we?"
Corporal Bane: "It's more a question of when. The year is 1059 AE."
[Character name]: "That can't be; time travel is impossible! No one has that technology yet, not even the Asura!"
Corporal Bane: "Not yet. Not for about 250 years."

What else notable happens in 250 years? The events of GW2, that's what! There is still 1 un-released class for GW2, and it's said to be a brand new profession. So what do you all think? If this mini-mission is meant to be canon, then this may actually be a hint at Chronomancers. Though it could be non-cannon, or it was just purposly put in to get people wondering as part of the April Fools' Day fun.

250 yuears is more in reference to the Commando as a playable GW2 class. They are running around Tyria around GW2 time, so they have to be sent back to appear in GW1.

lol, nowhere is it said that the Commando is from 250 years in the future, only that 250 years in the future is when time-travel is invented. The Commando could be from an even more distant future...which I think is more than likely...unless we're going to see helicopters in GW2 ahaha.

Nope, just 1. Devs have said that the classes in GW2 will be thakn from GW1, except 2. One will be a "re-vamp" of a GW1 class, and the other will be a brand new class. The already released Guardian is a re-vamped Paragon. That just leaves the mysterious new class. Chronomancers have been speculated before, as they were planned to be released in Guild Wars: Utopia...which never saw the light of day.

The last class/profession I saw was Thief (the 6th profession), leaving 2 more classes to be announced. Right? Or am I missing something?

Anet confirmed long time ago Chronomancer won't appear in GW2, but they said nothing about the Summoner.

No, no, no. This is for serious. Commando was released on April 1st without Anet thinking. It is a real class. There will be helicopters and tanks and submarines and it will be way over powered. Also, why would they spend all that time for a joke...?

Anyway...Its April Fools, people who think Commando will be in...JUST THINK ABOUT IT THEN LEAVE.

Also, technically there is still 2 reveals left, although 1 will not be new so basically 1 I Guess.
