Whats the best method of achiving this? FOW with 7 heroes?

Depends on what you wanna get on the side.
FOW gives you about 100k+ but takes a while depending on your method.
you also get the end chest, obsi shards, and random drops.
Vaettir farm gives golds and glacial stones
Hammers is expensive but fastest
Irontoe's lair gives alcohol at the end, chests, and random drops.

I think these are the most popular.
You can always do it the long way:
aka just play without dying.

Depends on your definition of "best". What's best for me may not be what's best for you. The amount of time I have will vary. The style of play I have will vary. The character selection I have will vary. The....

There are too many variables to define what "best" is for you. Just don't die.

I got it the day the patch was released via raptor farming. Less than 50k in double XP scrolls and I made more than that from the gold drops and dyes I got. Only took two hours from 0 exp to 1,337,500.

Now it's impossible. It costs nearly 600k worth of hammers!

The best way would be to cap 114 elites this weekend gogogo.

The best AND fastest would be Vaettir farm HM with double XP scrolls. It has been discussed in other threads but I'll tell u what I know here anyway =P

Buy double xp scrolls from a Merchant (NOT scroll trader)

It takes about.... 2~3~ hours for MAX survivor (depending on how much you have to log)

-Take Cupcakes for 25% faster movement (to get there and bonus Health and Energy)

-Merchant Summoning Stones (to sell golds to AND everything else you pick up)

-Pick up EVERYTHING and ID it (even whites) you will get your money back quickly

-You can restock on ID and Salvage Kits from the Merchant you summon

Edit: You can and should take a Protection Monk (Bonder) This will give you 100% chance of NOT dying. Simply flag him/her around. DO NOT let them get in the aggro bubble. Keep them away but close enough for them to maintain enchantments.

I ran the A/Mo build with Oggy rolling bonds. Never died.

You can also horde storybooks, save them up for instant survivor.

I'm going to do it with shiro's return books. Get both faction and the survivor maxed. It takes 24 HM books though to max it, but yea, there's no way i could do it normally.

Vaettirrs may not be for all... as far as I know it aint all classes that can farm them.
A mix of FoW runs, filling a few storybooks and a the zaishens that seemed less risky got my ranger to survivor.

Find which way suits you and your chosen proffesion and go from there, if one thing gets too boring mix it up a bit.

Personally, safer was "better" for me so I used a mix of NM FoW, HM Irontoe, and a few storybooks and high xp quests I still had.

NM FoW gives 100k xp from quests and around 17k xp from enemies. With good hero builds and a couple copies of Fallback, it take around 1.5 hours to do, in my experience. So that's around 78k xp per hour. However its rather safe (with good builds and tactics you can do it without even any hero deaths) and you'll make some money along the way from all the drops.

HM Irontoe takes around 10 minutes per run once you get used to it and gives 20k xp at minimum (including the quest reward). Using cheap scrolls you can boost that up to around 30k xp per run. So that could be near 120-150k xp per hour. Rare scrolls obviously boost it even higher, if you want to pay for them. It's also fairly safe as long as you can keep getting back up within the 10 second timer (personally I had no trouble with that).

Vaettirs are probably a higher rate, but I never did that.

Me personally I used the Mountain Trolls in the cave in Talus Chute hard mode with various scrolls to max survivor from 0-1337500Xp was fun and got between 16-25k xp depending on spawns and scrolls used, 5-8min a run not quickest nor best but probs easiest for me as a Dervish. Good Luck with it :P
