Can't get past character selection...
3lite
So after I log in and select any one of my character's it just sits at 0%. Eventually after 10 mins or so I throws an error 007 at me. I've looked it up and tried all those solutions and none of them worked. I just came back to the game about a week ago and this is the third time it has happened and seems to resolve itself. My connectivity is fine as I can connect to my web browser (chrome/firefox), I can connect to my steam games, as well as wow, and starcraft 2. I have added gw into my firewall settings to allow it to pass through although I didn't have to do this for the first few days until this issue popped up. As I stated it seems to resolve the next day or so. I've tried things such as restarting the router multiple times as well as my computer. I've tried adding that port 80 that someone suggested in another forum post, and no prevail. It's definitely not a hardware issue. I use a free version of Microsoft Forefront Client Security that was offered through my university (and no I'm not on the university's network as I live off campus - and I think we use AT&T as our ISP as we have u-verse.) I just know we have the best package they offer. I think its so weird that I can do everything but log into guildwars...any suggestions?!
Sir Baddock
Issue is with ArenaNet's servers.

That's what I assumed, but figured I'd get some input from others...anyone else getting this problem consistently?

There are about 10 (or more at this point) threads about this. It's a widespread issue that has been going on for two weeks, not just affecting connectivity, but guilds/guild halls. If you look at my posting history for the last few days, you can easily find all of those threads AND all of the most updated info about the issue - along with a few potential work-arounds for those able to utilize them.

Ya I found a few, but the one's I read seemed to be with people having firewall/router issues both of which I'm not having, and some with university networks which I'm not on. Freaking weird >.<

and they're all part of the same overall problem which NCSoft/ANet is trying to fix.
