Vizunah Square (Local) for foreign characters

I think it will be a great help to open the gate to Vizunah Square (Local) for "foreign" characters after the said mission (or after some story point in game).
ie. like how the gate to Vizunah Square (Foreign) is openable for Faction characters.

At this point in time, it is a bit hard for characters from Prophecies/Nightfall to actually encounter someone who started from Factions and happened to be right on that exact quest so to open that outpost.

None, retired to GW2.

edit: completely misread the first time
Still don't think it matters that much to really be changed.

not without having to join a party with someone having the initial quest.

Sorry but you have same sort of thing with nightfall - hidden city can be unlocked via someone having done the quest and the player missing it had to have done dzagnor bastion.Tbh after this amount of time it seems most players are not bothered about it and get on with it.

I never had much problems finding a canthan character to open the gate for me. The quest Chaos in the Markter is reasonable hard for characters who just came from Shing Jae without any hero's and not yet level 20 so most of the times I find it easy to find someone in the marketplace who is happy with a bit of help. As an extra bonus I always make sure I have Seek Out brother Tosay open so that the run to the undercity isa piece of cake.

Vishuna Square is my favourite mission in all of GW, I replay it many times.

I'd prefer to get more humans on the opposite team, and it seems that leaving from local is the way, but I can only do that on Factions character, and my para isn't one of them, which is my favourite profession to do the mission with.

I tried spamming in Marketplace US dist 1 for someone with the quest, but no luck

edit: Just noticed OPs profession; it looks like we want it changed so our paras can shout at everyone

When you make the alternate mission in Nightfall, the other outpost becomes unlocked.

The same may not be possible for Unwaking Waters, since they are limited to luxon/kurzick primary quests, but Vizunah is not limited.

Both outposts should be unlocked when you complete this mission from any of the two outposts.

Local district isn't for NF and I presume, Proph based characters. I've checked the entrance twice and talked to the NPC near by too.

I'm going to try spamming LFG again in The Market Place as is says on the wiki.

It's already possible; I unlocked it two days ago, some guy was sitting in Embark looking for help on Shing Jea. I just ended up spending a few minutes burning through missions on Shing Jea, then doing the two Canthan mainland primary quests.

It took about half an hour, about how long many missions to unlock new outposts take. I spent much of it waiting for him to merch stuff.

So, not too hard. And for the mission itself, foreign is not that different from local. Relax. And then go find a newbie in Shing Jea to hang out with half an hour if you are still upset about it.

I got both Unwaking Waters unlocked. I followed the primary missions to both. I don't know if I had to change sides and beat Shiro, but I do remember that I did after the fact.

On topic: I really agree that both places should be unlocked after completion, not that it really stops another character from getting Cartography.

It sounds fair enough, but really, asking someone else eligible to take you there to do so isn't that hard either. There are plenty of new or lower-level players going there as part of their primary quest chain anyways that it should be simple to find one to help out or to tag along.

I did it with 10 characters, 7 foreign and 3 local, and it was quite a pain.

You have to wait for ages until someone does any of the quests, and you must meet certain requirements yourself.

If you didn't finish Zen Daijun you'll be kicked out instead slipping into Vizunah Local, for example.

I will won't make any more PvE character, so I won't have to do it again, but I don't see why anyone else should have to go through the same annoyances.
