No, don't think you have to pay for it. Guild leader was just banned for 3 days for 3 silly names, and he had no real trouble with it.

Also, I think any name that does not insult any individual, race or religion should be ok. That is not insulting imo.

Okay, just as long as I don't have to pay to change the name, I really don't mind.

I really am confused as to why I was suspended though. :/

I honestly don't think any of them would be offensive except Reapist, which I don't play anymore.
One of the "guidelines" involves not having names including body parts/anatomy etc. But I don't think that's what they intended.

If they deem any other name in appropriate, you will be forced to change those names as well. I got suspended a few months ago for having 2 names they thought were inappropriate, when I logged on to each character I was forced to change the name (at no charge) before I could log on to that character.

This was not the question, thanks for trying. I made these characters a long time ago, and I still don't care what people say.

And I've been wanting to change my names for a while now, but not going to pay over $3 to do it.

Doesn't offend me would certainly not report anyone for having such a name its entirely up to them what their character is named.

On the other hand I wouldn't talk, trade, join their guild or adventure with them.

I would suggest deleting those chars if you can, saves the trouble. Honestly, just use mature/sensible names.

Because people want to chuckle at their name when they see it, and even though I want to change it, I'm not paying $10 or whatever it is just to change a name that doesn't matter, and shouldn't affect you. Teenagers make these names, deal with it, besides, I don't make character names like this anymore.

You're right, teenagers do make names like that... and then a few years later they grow up and realize how those names reflect on them (hint: not well)... and want to change them.

I wonder how many of the forced name changes actually result from some kid regretting his/her name choice and asking pals to "report" him/her so they'll get a free name change out of ANet - especially when someone has had the name for several years.
