So, I've been trying around a little (i.e. patching thing I found here together^^) and finally came up with something that actually kinda works:

http://img851.imageshack.us/i/gwteam.png/

The build can handle a lot of damage and can keep fighting for quite some time. Also basically no micro is required and you can just facecheck most things and don't have to worry about pulling.
However I feel like it could use some more dmg output and a way to deal better with spikes (from ele-bosses, etc...)

Any suggestions are welcome, but I will almost exclusively play Flasing Blades or Assasins Promise as my Elites, I can pretty much let go of anything else.
I want to use this build (or a better version of it) mainly for Vanquishes, HM dungeons as well as NM FoW. I also wanna try out DoA at some point, but I'm in no rush for that, the other things have priority.

thanks in advance

I'd drop ineptitude mesmer, go VoR on Panic mes and grab a SS necro with some melee buff curses.

Why is splinter wep on the commune rit?

Put that on the channel rit.

Instead of heals on the channel, go 10/11 smiting and bring judge's Insight+strength of honor, micro on yourself.

I prefer Jagged strike/fox fangs for faster chain, I also use I am unstoppable over res signet, just because KDs as a melee are annoying.

Not sure what the derv is doing, party heals+conditions? If that servs it's only purpose that can be replaced.

Revealed hex is bad, it has too long of a recharge to be useful, and odds that the mesmer is removing a hex they can actually use is low. Hex removal for a mesmer is shatter/smite hex, or even hex eater

Flesh of flesh/death pact signet over res chant imo.

Also the OP's SOGM is bar is better off with Boon of Creation + Signet of Creation for E management (or drop SOGM and grab Soul Twisting with 12 in Spawning Power).

Overload should be dropped, the hero will spam it to little effect regardless if the secondary condition is met. Bring skills like Mistrust and Shatter Hex, these clean and prot your party vs spellcaster teams and double as armor ignoring damage.

The Dwayna Derv is wasted space, drop it for more damage, you already have an ER protter, an SoS - resto split healer and Dwayna's Sorrow bomber. If you really want another healer, bring a a Utility / Heal split hero (necros are good for this because of SR, or you can work in a Str+Honor smite support bar for your sin).

Your assassin should be running Jagged Strike > Fox Fangs > Death Blossom, the quicker attacks > unblockable slow +damage attacks, especially when Str+Honor is added to the mix. If block stances / block enchants are in the way, use asuran scan. Save the rez for your heroes, they do it better and don't rely on morale boosts anyway.

Your bar does not need Flashing Blades, the ER Protter should be able to keep you up along with the passive heals from D-Sorrow and the back up healer from SoS. I would recommend Way of the Assassin for the extra crits and IAS if Crit agility is stripped / falls off before recharge.

Don't drop the Ineptitude Mes. I think it is fine in the team. I have a bit of problem with the Dev build too. Maybe if you are looking for more damage to twit the build a little to make it more damage dealing? If not make it a /warrior to add some speed for the entire group?

You dont need to drop the Ineptitude mesmer. VoR doesn't sync well with a Panic mesmer in the team.

I would second Bandwagon's suggestions.

Your build looks pretty sturdy but yes - I'd swap the Dervish out for something with some smite in there.

First off I think there's two general theories to PvE, even more so with 7 hero parties that can be highly efficient with little effort.

1 - Pack as much defense / healing as you can with the minimum required to kill (direct damage skills like discord / spirits / hexes etc.). This is fine for elite areas and the more annoying dungeons in HM.

2 - Pack as much offense as you can with the minimum required support. This is fine for general HM, VQ, most dungeons, missions, quest etc.

Having no idea what you're doing planning to do, it looks to me like you have way too much defense. 2 slots of no damage, 1 slot of very little damage, 2 slots of marginal damage. Playing as a melee player with SY! spam you can be a lot more aggressive than that. Don't be afraid to try stuff like melee heroes with strength of honor and barbs buffs. I won't go through every build you have but ER prot heroes suck (broken for players ofc), SoGM is meh for heroes and illusion heroes are not very efficient when you're mob rolling because the damage triggers are delayed.

Ok, thanks for all the input.

Version 2:

Replaced the Derv with a Curses Necro for support and S+H

I'll give Shatter hex a shot, rest on the Mersmers stayed the same.

Minor change to the SOGM and a rework of the player bar. Overall this looks pretty good, I'll give it a spin later. Any things that I messed up with my changes?

Don't give Shatter Hex to the Inept mes. At High Domination it has the capacity to do over 100 armor ignoring aoe dmg but it's a waste on an illusion mes.

Shatter hex, smite hex and cure hex should be enough hex removel. For heavy hex areas just throw in convert hexes on the e/mo.

Yeah, thanks for pointing that out, I'm not really sure why I threw this on both....

Seems fine now, just drop as said shatter hex on ineptitude(convert on emo will do if hex removal is really mandatory) and i think that Reversal of fortune/Shielding hands/Shield of absorption aren't excellent for hero, they will spam them.
Replace them with spirit bond(shines in HM) a back-up blocking ench(like shield guardian/guardian) or whatever you need(as said convert hexes). Dismiss/heal condition>mend aliment also.
Finally, i'd swap Crit agility(u already have wota) for another pve skill, like IAU!.

Just tried some FoW and I gotts say you are 100% right.

I'm also not sure if ER-protter is right, SY already does a lot there, so I think I'd rather have something that actually heals.

Gotta watch my second Necro as well, it looks good ans SoH is definately great, but he feels kinda meh
