PvP character questions

I have a few questions about PvP characters, I hope someone can answer them.

1)Do I only get the skills I have unlocked on my roleplaying characters? Or do I get a standard set of skills + My unlocked skills?

2)When I start a PvP character I start at the great temple of balthazar, but GWwiki says when the first time you make a PvP character you start at the isle of the nameless. But I don't start there? Also I didn't have to do those quests. Can someone explain this?

1) You'll get a standard set of skills plus all your unlocked skills.

2) No idea. You can easily walk between Isle of the Nameless and Great Temple of Balthazar though.

The quests are for you to get acquainted with all the PvP modes GW has to offer. If possible, complete those (also for some easy starter Balthazar faction). The Guide offers them.

2) Your 1st PvP-only toon starts in Isle of Namelees, all next PvP-only toons start in GToB.
