Hi! i have a logitech g110 gaming keyboard, and every now and then, while playing guild wars as far as i can remember, my keys will randomly reassign themselves. For instance, yesterday right before a gvg started my enter key would ONLY switch my window from full screen to windowed, or vice versa, and my tab key would open the start menu. I also could not type /resign, because the R, S, I,G, and N would not type anything at all. does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? it would be much appreciated.
Thanks much,

Switch the USB cable to a different port on the PC, preferably the front panel USB ports, this will prove what I think and that this is either a USB Hub issue (All the back USB ports are screwed) or it's a Software issue with the Logitech Gaming Software 7.0.
Just for shits and giggles, make sure the Shift Keys, Alt keys, Control keys and Windows keys aren't stuck down by something that's become either lodged under them or something sticky is making them well, sticky.
PS: I've never heard of this issue specifically with the Logitech G110, I have the G15 and a few friends of mine have the G110.

I dont recall having this problem with the other keyboard that i had, so it may be something with this keyboard. ill check the keys and whatnot, and see if i can update the software for it. if i cant, would it be alright to put my webcam in the back USB ports? my mic is on it and i need that for..well..everything on guild wars. i like to have 1 front USB port open for flash drives or whatever else i need to hook up to it.

You can leave the other devices where they are, this is only for at most 24-hours just to confirm that the issue isn't with the back USB Ports on the motherboard. I'm not certain but it's probably either going to turn out to be a USB Hub issue or the profiling system for the G110, do you have the G110 software installed and set to automatically change profiles when you launch Guild Wars?. (which unless it's different from the G15, which I doubt that it is the Profiling software should be automatically changing to the Guild Wars profile, you can delete the Guild Wars Keyboard Profile all together in the G110 Driver Software).
PS: Make sure you download the newest version of Logitechs Keyboard Software from the logitech website, the ones on the G110 are most likely older (possibly pre-UI updated G15v2 drivers).

I have a G110 and definitely have no such problems. First off though, is it only in Guild Wars, or are keys doing things wrong in other applications as well? If it is just Guild Wars, then it is probably a driver issue. Otherwise, I'd look at hardware

I've had a similar problem with my G19, but it's not as serious. Occasionally, some of the G keys will re-assign themselves, and since one of them acts as CTRL to "ping" targets (because of it's relative proximity to other keys I use) but switches itself to "Log out", it becomes a bit of a hassle.
I've found that merely bringing up the Logitech Key Profiler, without changing anything, will set the keys back the way they should be. But I have no idea at this time, what causes this - I assume it may be useful to check for driver/app updates.

I dont recall it switching out keys in anything other than guild wars. however, even when im not in guild wars the keys still are unresponsive. ill try bringing up the key profiler and hopefully that works. Ill try downloading more drivers for the keyboard and see if that works. thanks for the input guys.
