Graphic problems for armor

Ever since I built my new PC i have been able to play GW on max setting 4x AA. I log into today and for some reason everything in-game is like it is set to Medium settings while its is set to max. I turn it to medium and back to high and there is no difference in change. There is a change if I go to low settings. This didn't happen yesterday just happened today. Nothing has changed since then.

I have already installed latest drivers AFTER this happen to see if it was my driver's that was the problem. It did not fix it. I have deleted the DAT file and download a fresh one 3 times as of this post. Didn't help either, also downloaded a fresh GW.exe from website. I am not using any kind of mods.

Would post ingame pics but at this time but I am downloading DAT file for forth time to see it works.

There was another thread that I recall mentioning this. The game is kinda downscaled for lower end PCs, and when you crank everything on something better, it still has a case of the uglies. Could be wrong, but I also have something like that.

There's always the simple explanation that your video card has died.

At any rate, I think you can stop at 4 .dat downloads.

So is it only GW that is affected or does this happen on other games - games that also have high-end graphics?
