I'd like to buy this set, but there is a note on the wiki page about it clipping badly with most shields. Maybe the feathery part of the glove is protruding; the comment doesn't specify. Could anyone demonstrate the extent of the problem? My necro uses spear/shield a lot for MoP so this is potentially a deal breaker.

Try Aureate Aegis. That shield looks like it should be able to hide the feathery glove parts.

I submitted a gallery of a few shields for you or anyone else interested. Link is here. Emblazoned Defender has no clipping, and a few others have just minor issues, like Gloom. The file names in the URLs describe which shield and the angle, if applicable. Enjoy.
