Letting Us Know What People Are Banned For

I see that people have been banned yet i do not know why. I have had people try and sell me stuff in-game who i know have been banned and it would be nice to know what they did. E.g trolling is less worse than say scamming when dealing with sellers.

Some are quite amusing such as one person getting banned for promoting fat porn lol.

I think it would benefit the guild wars community greatly as you could see what they were banned for then decide if you want to do business with them.

If you post porn here, you are forever banned. Your IP is banned too.

We don't ban for in-game transactions, unfortunately. If someone is banned here, it's simply because they broke the forum guidelines frequently enough to deserve it. Scamming another user in an in-game trade may be poor conduct, but it isn't against our rules. Therefore, whether a person is banned or not has no impact on their credibility as a trader.

There are very few exceptions to this, and if it's important enough that it gets them banned, you would surely know about it.

Not even necessarily undesirable, maybe they either didn't read, or didn't understand what the rules are. Most bans given out are temporary, with a corresponding note as to what the offender did wrong, in the hopes that it can be corrected.
