Q8,7... Weapons

Where do ppl find these weapons? i have been playing gw for 3 yrs. Done alot of vanquishes, speed clears, etc. and i never found a q8 weapon. Are there specific places/monsters that drop these items?

I have played for 2 years and only saw 1 perfect q8 drop (for a teammember). So they drop very rarely.

Just to give you 3 places: raptors farm, vaettirs farm and killing wurms outside Boreal Station (while running chests).

I believe they are capable of dropping everywhere...

...except req 7 weapons. If I remember correctly, they don't drop max and gold anymore.

I got all mine (R8 max golds) in NM...never got a R7 max though. In HM you might get blue R8 max, gold is harder.

I got several req 8 golds recently while boxing NM. They're all pretty lame skins though... Stone Summit Shield, Highlander Blade, etc.

...and shields.

Will second LifeInfusion's comment, I have only ever gotten max gold r8's post-update in normal mode never in hard. 7's as far as anyone has been able to determine will not drop max anymore at all so that ship has long since sailed.

i got one trying to farm skree in nm for skree wings...q8:16 insc blue command tribal shield...gave it away.

Shields are offhand items.

I've had max R8 drops from foes between level 17 through 30, in both normal and hard mode. Most of those have been white or blue.

I usually found them in EOTN.

Max Req 7's Havent been confirmed drop since Nightfalls release

Neither been max R8 Axe, Hammer, Staff, Wand, bow

Max r8 still drop swords, Shields and offhands tho..

Max r8 scythes and spears do not excist.
