Adding Guild Wars account to Steam
Craywulf
is it possible to add a non-steam Guild Wars game to Steam? I've added it as a non-steam game, but I was hoping to find a way to add it by account code. Problem is only the last set of digits are available to me. So How do I go about finding the full code of my account?

Is it possible to link two GW accounts (Prophencies) together?

A) If you bought GW off steam, there is no way to activate it on steam, besides just running it through the steam UI. I tried the same thing myself a while ago, but to no avail.
B) If both games are prophecies, I do not believe you can merge them, but I am not sure.

When you buy Guild Wars off steam as a bundle of all the expansions it adds itself, outside of that you cannot add pre-steam or existing "non-steam" versions directly to steam unless you add it as a non-steam game which doesn't log game hours, achievements (none) or provide the regular functionality. However if you add it as a non-steam game the In-Game browser and in-game chat works within Guild Wars like every other title.
PS: When on any tab on steam click on "Games" at the top and you can find the option to add games from there.

Giro thanks for the help. I was hoping to merge my retail version with a steam version. I already have GW (and all the expansions) set as non-steam game in the library. I guess that's the best I can do.

People have asked for this in the past and I believe the answer was no. I wanted to merge a small prophecies account in the past with my main account just to get the 4 slots on my main account for even more room on one account, but again, think they don't do that.
*You keep mentioning a steam version, btw. If you downloaded it on steam once, that client will run your "good account" as well not just the one you bought off steam. Even if you say, bought only prophecies on steam, the client is still patched fully to date with everything, steam is just behind on making expansions and their master game fit into one name. They kinda fail at that.
