WTF up with the wikis?

I know the other day there was talk of them taking down the wikis to do some maintenance, but it pvx and reg gw wiki seem to be down alot. Even when they are up they are slower than dirt, is this something others have run into lately?

Dpending on if its pvx ( old one ) or gwpvx - neither are run off anets servers and the gwpvx is run off curses servers same as guru is now.
So neither are affected by anets webservers unlike the official wiki.

i have had problems with the official guildwiki and gw2 page lately, not the others though

Both guildwarsguru and guildwars2guru sites, plus the unofficial wiki (guildwiki.org) and gwpvx.com are hosted by Curse. ArenaNet only hosts the official wiki.
There are also badly maintained (and vandalized) versions of the unofficial wiki and pvx still on the wikia servers. Don't use those.

I've only been having problems with gwpvx. I can see everything but the actual build pages. They just come up completely blank.

I'm still having trouble with official GW wiki. It's going on a couple of weeks now and it's really frustrating.
I tried to connect to the home page and it's still trying to connect > 5 minutes later. Oh. It didn't connect. AGAIN! If I'm lucky I'll be able to connect in 3-4 minutes, and if I'm really, really lucky it will load like to use to. But that's only 20% of the time. What gives? What happened to it?

It must be an issue since my normal loading of the offical wiki is very slow--right now for me its just as fast as any other website.
I have had a few slow times in the last week or so, but they usually did resolve to the page I wanted.
Might be good to know where the issues are :what browser, where you are etc...so they can pin point any event that might be occurring on their end.

No probs with Curse-hosted pages.
Official pages, including both wikis, GW2 blog, official GW1 page, have been either dead or loading 6+ minutes for the last two weeks or so.

Yeah, been having unusual off and on load problems with the wiki. Been having a few unusual problems loading the game info too.

Guess that was when they decided to make GW2... Good thing it's taking them so long to get around to it.
