What I Miss

I miss A/E Sliver Armor boss farming. Ganking bosses for their greens.
Shadow form UP! Gather as many red dots as you can! Step to boss and turn on the SLIVER!! After the boss explodes, pick up your loot before Shadow Form wears off and the 100 red dots around you blast you to bits!
I think the Dunkoro and Talkhora on 8 or more of my characters all had Scar Eaters. I farmed that darn goat so much.
I wish there was still a good green farming build like that. *sigh* I miss it.

... I still have fun farming occasionaly sorrow furnace or some random bosses though... But well , old players ( people who were satisfied when getting 1 green in 1 hour) against new players ( people who aren't satisfied by getting a q11 bone dragon staff ).....p

I miss the old Proph days back when everyone would just play to play.

also miss farming hydras with a 55monk (before loot scaling)
back then 20k was a fortune.... and every1 was going crazy farming kephket's refuge cuz it was worth like 5k
ah,the good old times
As said by many before, I miss the fun this game used to bring me when it first came out. Literally waiting to get out of school so I could log on and play with my regular group (which I am the very last of). The anticipation would nearly drive me crazy every day lol.
Can't be missing it that much then.

When everybody used to farm, do missions and all kinds of stuff instead of powertrading.
When you needed 8 people to complete the last missions of prophecies.
When Tomb of Primeval kings was full of rangers crazy to go barrage + pet.
When warriors where tanks.
When an elité armor was realy elité armor.
When a titan gem was worth 10k.
Good old days. Hope GW2 will bring back the great game community we once had toghether again, one last time.

-Soloing stuff on my War, back before HM came out, that nobody would probably even bother with today (Grenth's Footprint/Vermin)
-When Wars were THE runners (with SB monks, or some rangers, doing a few other small runs)
-Standing in an outpost on my monk and getting raged at for being afk/not accepting random party invites.
-Getting a nice drop and actually feeling excited about it.
-The excited feeling I used to get when the "A new build of Guild Wars is Available..." message used to start spamming, especially just as an event was starting.
-Owning Tombs with a B/P team.
-Waiting for the American PvPers to take halls so I could finally go to FoW with my friends.

I miss...
The very first day I played. Pre searing is what sold me on this game.
Seeing the shiverpeaks for the first time.
Going into Sorrows Furnace for the first time.
Factions release day
Comming out of the canthan projects and finally seeing some foliage.
Seeing the Jade sea for the first time. The Jade sea was so beautiful.
My GvG days before NF release <----- really miss this one a lot
When Kaineng center was the place to trade instead of spamadan, the shithole of istan

That or when Ascalon ID1 was the place to trade rare shit...
Idk why but trading there just felt better than kamadan, i loved that place. That was where I bought my first rare mini and my first time that I made some good money.
Im such a nostalgic fk about everything and I hate it cause it always makes me so frickin sad.

Having 3+ districts in every single outpost was amazing.
I remember having to run about 15+ guildies through Elona's Reach, which was the bane of the desert at that time. Funny given how easy it is once you learn the patrols and best path to take.
Wiping in FoW and still having fun each time.
White Mantle farming.
I miss...
Unlimited minions.
Playing with other people instead of heroes & henchies.
Grouping up to get the the extra skillpoints after reaching 20 in Prophecies.
When Tomb of the Primeval Kings was the entry for Halls.
Epic journeys with 8-person groups going from Beacon's Perch to Droknar's Forge.
Killing giants for their boots in Riverside and 55-ing the Tengu Twin Serpent Lakes prior to the introduction of Mesmer mobs.
Oh yeah, and having to capture skills as the boss was using them rather than from their corpse.
And the boss in the Northern Shiverpeaks that used to have Skull Crack, making it the earliest Elite Skill you could capture.

Man o man...I love the reminiscing threads on anniversary day:
- I miss having to group in Thunderhead Keep (and it subsequently being full) because it was the hardest mission in GW
- I miss Piken Square being full of traders
- I miss desert runs
- I miss the first time I finally got out of seared Ascalon and thought "Oh shit, snow!"
- I miss the first time I finally got out of urban Cantha and thought "Oh shit, grass!"
Happy Anniversary everybody!
