Question about summoning spirits

Sometimes when I create new spirits far away from my old spirits, my old spirits will remain alive. (Example: When I'm done with a battle my spirits will remain at that place. When I encounter another battle I will summon some new spirits. But sometimes my old spirits will remain alive while I've summoned the same ones in another place. Aren't they supposed to dissapear?)

It's purely a matter of distance. Something like 3/4ths of the compass width away and the old ones won't forcibly despawn.

Its the spirit radious,which is, as Ogre said, aggro range x3-4 ish.

It's not that you can't have 2 of the same spirits, it's just that you can't have 2 of the same spirits close to eachother.
