Guild Wars Trilogy

I recently got Guild Wars Trilogy and when I installed it it won't let me install Nightfall or Factions. How do I install it.
Dzjudz
You don't install Guild Wars campaigns separately. There is only one client for all games, the normal Guild Wars gw.exe. Your account content (in your case prophecies, factions and nightfall) decides what content you can play.

When you installed it, you got everything unlocked. When you create a Role-Playing character, you are given the option to begin in Prophecies, Factions or Nightfall. If you create a character in one campaign and wish to travel to another with that character, here is a link to the wiki page explaining how it is done.

its just one big game... the code is just needed to see which parts you are allowed to play.

In that case im lacking the code then I bought the game to find used codes for all the games so that stinks.
Dzjudz
Did you buy it used? Codes can only be used once and accounts aren't strictly transferable.
EZPZ
yeah i did stupid me. I really hope NCSoft has good support or else im done for.
Zenzai
Chances are NCSoft won't do anything since the code is non-existant and you bought it used from someone else.

Also, Anet do not allow the transfer of accounts (it's stated in the EULA) so they could pretty much just ignore you. You're better off just buying a proper new copy and not bothering with support. In any case, they'll probably just tell you about how accounts work and why you shouldn't have bought one second hand.

whoever sold it to you needs to be punched, buy it off steam or something.

If you bought a used copy of GW it's just as useless as buying a used beer. You can´t complain to the brewery that the bottle is empty...
The game client can be downloaded for free from Anet´s official site. What you actually buy is the game keys and they can only be used once. So, just like a beer its one time use and a used one has already been consumed.
Depending on where you bought it you might be able to get a refund.

If you bought it used, did they give you the logon for the account? That is the only way you're going to get in, no keys needed if that is the case, but you need the proper username and password (which you can change the password once you are in, the email that is attached to the account as well).

So, did you buy the "Trilogy" or just simply all 3 campaigns. If you bought the Trilogy and it installed correctly, you should have the option to start a new character in any campaign. If your only option is to start in Prophecies, then you didn't buy the Trilogy, or you used the wrong key (a trial key?), or you got ripped.
If you actually bought 3 separate campaigns, then you need to add the keys from Factions and Nightfall to you Prophecies account - you don't need (or want) to install them separately.

I think I got ripped so that so I need to track down that seller
