So, this is the final Ascalon Royal Family Masquerade Ball that will exist in Guild Wars 1. As such, we (myself and the other hosts) are going to push for this event to be the largest one yet.

• First on the list of things is donations; we are going to need them, a lot of them.

At the top of the letter, you will see the hosts signatures. These are the people that are available to receive donations. But, for those of you that do not wish to scroll back up, I understand.

Here is a list of people that are official hosts and primary helpers of the event that will accept donations for the event (this list will be updated). Anyone who is not in the list below is not recognized as a donation acceptor, and thus should NOT be given donations. I repeat, if they are not on the list below, please do NOT give them donations. I cannot stress this enough.

• Ok, as for the second bit of business... help. For the time being, we are not revealing the events etc. Once we do, we may be in need of volunteers, depending on our estimates for the event. If we do need said help, anyone who is willing is welcome to apply for a given position. NOTE: If you are a staff member, you are NOT eligible for prizes or contests. Please remember that before signing up, as it eliminates you from any chance of winning anything in relation to this event. This is to keep things fair and to eliminate any chance of foul play; thanks for your understanding in this matter.

• Lastly, and I think 2nd most importantly and most importantly all balled up into one... sort of?... Tell your friends! Tell your family (if they play GW)! Tell your guild! Tell your alliance! Tell your friends to tell their guilds and alliances! Tell your cat! TELL EVERYONE about the ARFMB.

If you plan to attend, please post in this thread. The more accurate the estimated guests are from this thread, the more accurately we (the hosts) can setup the event with enough staff to manage everything nicely.


REMEMBER, the more the merrier. Increased awareness isn't a curse; with 5 years under my belt, I know how to deal with large events very well, and so do the other hosts. With our combined experience, we can ensure you that this event will be organized down to the very last pastry and very last word spoken. That's what happens when you have the biggest, most experienced and longest running event hosts in the game come together for one finale event. We're going out with a bang everyone!

Sorry about that, I posted up a quick schedule with multiple timezones at the bottom.

I'll be planning to attend as well, I ended up having to miss the last couple of shin-digs in Guild Wars these past couple of weeks, so I doubt I'll be making that a 3rd in a row.

In reply to End's question, any and all donations are welcome. I've gotten a lot of spare gold weapons from friends, max mods, tonics, straight up gold and so forth. Aside from the obvious big stuff (like a stack of ecto or something ) any old odds and ends are quite welcome. I know whenever I attend the events it's always fun to get something, even if it's not that grand, and it's my intention to make sure everyone walks away with a memento.

Though stacks of ecto are always greatly appreciated.

I'll be there. Might be able to dig something up to donate.

Just got a number of tonics, some minis, and other assorted goodies from Kaden.
